The exact number of minors who are forced into child sex trafficking in the United States is difficult to determine due to the covert nature of the crime. But it is estimated that between 240,000 and 325,000 women and children are forced into sexual slavery in the United States every year, and the total number varies wildly as it is very difficult to research, according to the Department of Health and Human Services. This number is likely an underestimate, as many cases go unreported or undetected.
In response to the growing issue of child sex trafficking, LION195 has brought together a team of professionals with diverse backgrounds to establish the organization and develop services for those who are most in need.
join our coalition
Our organization is looking for partners, sponsors, and individuals who share our passion for supporting those impacted by human trafficking. By joining forces, we can work towards turning our vision of ending child trafficking into a reality.
The mission of LION195 Against Trafficking, Inc. is to support child survivors of human trafficking with a safe place to heal and recover, while also collaborating with national and international partners to put an end to human trafficking. Our approach involves not only providing love and care to those affected by trafficking and exploitation, but also seeking justice against those responsible and working with global coalitions to address the underlying causes of trafficking. Our ultimate objective is to establish a comprehensive global network to combat trafficking, which will allow survivors to heal, reintegrate into society, and become leaders in their communities.
If you or someone you know is a victim of child trafficking, there is help available. The National Human Trafficking Hotline provides 24/7 crisis support and connects survivors with services in their area.
