We are stronger together

Human trafficking is a complex issue that requires a united effort to combat it. At LION195, we recognize that addressing the root causes of trafficking and finding solutions require collaboration across different states and communities. We believe that creating and supporting coalitions is crucial to achieving our mission of ending human trafficking.

Our LION195 Coalition aims to bring together individuals, organizations, and communities to work collectively towards the goal of eradicating human trafficking. By sharing resources, knowledge, and expertise, we can make a greater impact and reach more survivors. We will seek to build strong partnerships that leverage each other’s strengths and networks to create a lasting change.

As a member of the LION195 Coalition, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded individuals and organizations, participate in events and training, and have access to valuable resources and support. Together, we can create a society where human trafficking no longer exists.

What will our coalition do?

The LION195 Coalition will work towards several objectives to combat human trafficking and provide support for survivors. These include:

  • Information Sharing: We believe in the power of collaboration and will work to share information among coalition members to strengthen our efforts in addressing human trafficking. This includes sharing best practices, research, and resources to help inform and improve our work.
  • Developing and implementing a shared policy agenda. Our coalition will work to develop and implement a shared policy agenda around anti-trafficking efforts. This will include advocating for policy changes at the local, state, and national levels to support survivors and prevent human trafficking.
  • Providing mutual support: We will provide mutual support to each other’s campaigns and initiatives. This includes sharing resources, providing guidance and mentorship, and collaborating on joint projects to maximize our collective impact.
  • Coordinating efforts on specific issue campaigns: The LION195 Coalition will coordinate efforts on specific issue campaigns related to human trafficking. This includes working together to raise awareness, advocate for policy change, and provide support to survivors.
  • Maximizing resources: Our coalition will work together to maximize our resources and accomplish more together than we could alone. This includes leveraging partnerships, and coordinating on events and initiatives to increase our impact.

What if i am already in a coalition?

That is awesome and we can’t wait to work with you. We are HUGE believers in not recreating the wheel and have no interest in competing with what your community has already done. We would love to meet with your Coalition and learn from your experience so that we can work better together in your region and the nation.

how many coalitions will you have?

LION195 aims to establish a coalition in each of the 10 FEMA regions defined by the US Department of Homeland Security. Our first priority is to set up our own coalition in Region 5, where we are headquartered. Next, we will work on establishing coalitions in the other regions. If you are located in any of the regions and would like to be prioritized, please don’t hesitate to contact us today. We believe that by working together, we can make a significant impact in the fight against human trafficking.
